- Do I need to install any software?
- No. ScreenRecord.in runs entirely in your browser using the MediaRecorder API. Nothing to install, nothing to update.
- What browsers are supported?
- ScreenRecord.in works on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. The app requires a browser with MediaRecorder, getDisplayMedia, and getUserMedia support.
- Where are my recordings stored?
- Recordings are stored locally in your browser's storage by default. They remain on your device until you delete them. Cloud sharing is opt-in and backed by Cloudflare R2.
- Can I pause and resume a recording?
- Yes. Press R to start or stop, X to pause and resume, and Esc to cancel and discard. The recording continues seamlessly when you resume.
- Does ScreenRecord.in capture system audio?
- Yes. Toggle "System Audio" on before starting a recording to capture sound from applications and your browser alongside your screen. Microphone audio is captured separately via the "Microphone" toggle.
